Project FungE17 2020

In the Autumn of 2020 Fat Fox Mushrooms teamed up with St. James Big Local for Project #FungE17. Local residents of all ages had the chance to grow oyster mushrooms at home and to explore the world of fungi in gardens, parks and urban spaces.

Mushrooms are easy to grow, even in spaces without outdoor access and little light, making them ideal to grow even if you don’t have a garden! Those who participated in Project #FungE17, you will received everything they needed to enjoy the process of cultivating oyster mushrooms, including educational information about mushroom ecology and lifecycle and to share photos of local fungal finds on social media.
