Ganoderma has a long history of use in promoting health and longevity in Asia and there is a rich and interesting variety of Ganoderma species. Each variety boasts its own distinctive shape, color, and texture, making this bundle perfect for collectors, nature enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the artistry of fungi.
 
Classic Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum - UK-Native strain): Renowned for its smooth, glossy surface and glossy red hue, this mushroom is a timeless symbol of nature’s elegance. Its fan-shaped form and lacquered finish make it a stunning centerpiece for displays or nature-inspired decor.
 
Black Reishi (Ganoderma sinense): With its deep, almost ebony tones and bold, curved structure, Black Reishi exudes an air of mystery and sophistication. Its dramatic appearance sets it apart, making it a striking addition to any fungal collection.
 
Antler Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum): This variety grows in intricate, antler-like formations with in fiery hues. Its branching structure creates an organic, coral-like sculpture.
 
Blood Reishi (Sanguinoderma rugosum): Though not technically a reishi, this fungus bears some similarity to its reishi cousins, being under the Ganodermataceae family. Its fruiting bodies are a deep black, with bright white growing tips. Put it under UV lights and the white pores glow in shades of pink and orage! The white growing tips and mycelium also bruise a vivid red when disturbed. If you cut and squeeze the fruiting body, it will "bleed" out vivid red liquid that can be used as a natural ink (it dries black) and we've had fun using it to draw directly on paper.
 
These easy-to-grow kits will start producing pins in 3-9 weeks and can yield 1 harvest over the course of 1 year. You can find detailed instructions for all our kits on our website.
