King Oyster Mushrooms are delicious and fast-growing with very high yields!

These mushrooms thrive in cooler temperatures, ideally between 14 and 20 degrees, making them adaptable to a variety of climates.

 

Pleurotus eryngii is native to the Mediterranean regions of Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. These mushrooms are particularly popular in Chinese cuisine, adding a unique and savoury dimension to various dishes.

 

Provided with natural sunlight these mushrooms absorb and store Vitamin D2 and are some of the only naturally occurring, non-animal food sources of Vitamin D.

 

Cooking Tips: With their meaty texture and earthy flavours they are a fantastic mushroom to cook on the grill. When cut into rounds and smothered in butter & garlic, their large stems make a great vegan alternative to scallops.
